Norwegian Energy Partners has for some time been in communication with the Energy and Industry Department, Prime Minister's Office in Brunei, discussing a deep-water seminar. We have now agreed to arrange a joint seminar in Bandar Seri Begawan in November 2017 with the following theme: Maturing projects in the deepwater areas.

Norway's experiences with the development and operation of deep-water gas fields, often tied back to shore/shallow water platforms, is recognised as unique and is an area that matches Brunei's needs when considering developing gas fields like those discovered in Block CA2.

The following themes will be addressed:

  • Drilling and well technologies for deep water
  • Technologies for deep-water subsea tiebacks
  • Deep-water subsea production facilities
  • SURF elements including related marine operations

Also expected are presentations on investment in Brunei and competitive financing.

If you as a NORWEP partner are interested in participation, please submit the following to , cc. .
