Australia has embarked on it’s next phase of offshore gas projects with a number of floating gas production facilities to provide "backfill" for existing Australian LNG projects.

The time of mega-scale oil and gas projects in Australia has most likely come to an end. The next phase in our industry sector is going to come from smaller infill / tie-back projects. The majority of these projects will be subsea developments tied back to existing producing assets.
INTSOK, The Royal Norwegian Embassy, the Commercial Norwegian Pavilion and GCE Subsea are hosting a Norwegian Subsea Showcase session during the Subsea Conference at the Australasian Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (AOG) 2017.
