Australia Webinar Series: P&A part 2
Oil & gas upstreamInfo
Interested in P&A solutions? To showcase Norway’s capabilities in these areas, NORWEP will host a second webinar to present some of these technologies and novel approaches. This is an opportunity for you to hear from the experts and learn from their knowledge and experience.
At the end of their useful life, all wells should be plugged and abandoned (P&A) in a safe manner according to regulatory requirements. However high costs and lack of financial incentives to perform the P&A operations have resulted in large backlogs of unsecured wells and consequently heavy liabilities for the oil and gas companies.
The industry is calling for suppliers offering enabling or emerging technologies or novel approaches that could be applied in a cost challenged environment to permanently abandon these wells. Norway has a reputation for innovation and is in the forefront in terms of technology and expertise in this area.
To showcase Norway’s capabilities in these areas, NORWEP will host an online webinar to showcase some of these technologies and novel approaches. This is an opportunity for you to hear from the experts and learn from their knowledge and experience.
