Australia Thumbs Up

The time of mega-scale oil and gas projects in Australia has most likely come to an end. The next phase in our industry sector is going to come from smaller stand-alone or backfill projects to existing producing assets. The reserves are found in smaller and more complex fields and the costs of developing these are forever increasing. The industry is now calling for suppliers offering enabling or emerging technologies or novel approaches that could be applied in a cost challenged environment to develop these reserves. Norway has a reputation for innovation and is in the forefront in terms of technology and expertise in the areas of reservoir understanding, drilling and downhole equipment.

To showcase our capabilities in these areas, INTSOK hosted a Drilling, Downhole & Reservoir Technologies Conference in Perth, Australia on Wednesday 16 November 2016.

This was an opportunity to meet the experts and learn from their knowledge and experience.
