Norwegian Technology Showcase
Cost effective brownfield solutions
The Australian oil and gas industry is entering a phase of growing brownfields activities with it’s fleet of aging offshore facilities. To showcase Norway's capabilities in this area, NORWEP is hosting a cost effective brownfield solutions briefing session in Perth, Australia on Thursday October 12, 2017.
The north west of Australia has more than 30 fixed and floating offshore installations that have been in production for up to 30years. There are already a number of facility life extension and field abandonment projects underway.
Norway is in the forefront in terms of technology and expertise in the Brownfields sector with a large number of ageing offshore facilities dating back to the early 1970’s.
This briefing session will focus on alternative piping solutions, multidiscipline support systems and life extension of electrical cables.
