On the occasion of the State Visit by Their Majesties The King and Queen of Norway to Australia, and a Norwegian business delegation visit to Australia, INTSOK held a Seminar in Perth, Australia on Friday 27 February 2015.

Norwegian supply and service industry is in the forefront in terms of "world class" technology and expertise for safe and environmentally sound exploration, development and production of petroleum reserves in harsh environment.

INTSOK's Seminar on "Recent Advances in Offshore Technology", which was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Perth on Friday 27 February 2015, showcased Norwegian companies' capabilities.

The Seminar was opened by Hon Bill Marmion, MLA, Minister for Mines and Petroleum, Western Australia and Mr. Tord Lien, Minister of Petroleum and Energy - Norway. His Majesty King Harald V of Norway concluded the Seminar, which was followed by a cocktail reception.

Participation was by invitation only and there was no participation fee, and as many as 250 invited key persons and clients participated. Listened to presentations and mingled with the Norwegian suppliers and service companies. The event was sponsored by the Norwegian government and Oil & Gas Industry.
