BP’s Shah Deniz Phase 2 development commenced production in July 2018, and is expected to reverse a declining trend in Azeri offshore production.
Supported by the coming production from Total’s Absheron field (expected startup in 2020), offshore production levels of 1.2-1.3 mmboepd are expected in 2022.
