  • Azerbaijan Offshore Oil & Gas Market Report 2021 - 2024 Expand Minimize By Rystad Energy for Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), 9 February 2021

    Azeri oil and gas is exported to the European markets through pipelines, the most important ones being the oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) ending in Turkey, and the gas pipelines connected to the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC). At the end of 2020, first commercial gas volumes were delivered through the last leg of the SGC, ending in Italy. BTC and part of the SGC 5 are located close to the conflict area of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, 4 and export volumes might be at risk in case of any disputes, as observed in 2020.
