INTSOK, in cooperation with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ottawa and Innovation Norway hosted a Deep Water and Harsh Environment Seminar in St. John's, Canada on Thursday 10 November 2016.

The challenging offshore shelf outside Newfoundland requires the best available technology and solutions the world can offer. Norwegian supply and service industry is in the forefront in terms of "world class" technology and expertise for safe and environmentally sound exploration, development and production of petroleum reserves in deep water and harsh environment.

To showcase Norwegian companies' capabilities in this area, INTSOK in cooperation with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ottawa and Innovation Norway, hosted a Deep Water & Harsh Environment Seminar to present relevant project experiences and case studies showcasing services and technology related to challenges the offshore industry faces.

The Embassy of Canada also hosted a Workshop on Tuesday 8 November 2016. As a part of INTSOK's Seminar on 10 November, there was a luncheon and reception in the presence of HRH Crown Prince Haakon and HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway.
