  • Engineering hubs Offshore Oil & Gas Market Report 2019 - 2022 Expand Minimize Prepared by Rystad Energy for Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), 28 August 2018

(This is an exerpt from the  Annual Offshore Oil & Gas Market Report 2019 - 2022 )

Oil and gas production is spread across the globe, but the management of these resources and key decision making has historically been performed from a few, key engineering hubs, predominantly located in Europe and North America.

This chapter focuses on the dynamics between the respective location of the project, sanctioning activity and the main engineering contractors. Understanding these dynamics is important for Norwegian suppliers, since the ability to identify and
locate the key decision makers of upcoming projects at an early stage is vital to being able to affect decisions, win contracts and, in turn, capture market share.
