  • Guyana - the booming oil producer Expand Minimize Manniram Prashad, 24 June 2021

    Following Guyana’s first oil discovery in May 2015, more than a dozen wells containing high quality, oil-bearing sandstone reservoir have been found. The total recoverable resource of Guyana’s Stabroek block to date amounts to more than 9 billion oil-equivalent barrels. Our new Energy advisor for Guyana and Surinam, Manniram Prashad, has made this detailed report describing the oil and gas industry and activities in Guyana.
