Kazakhstan Engineering visit to Norway
The Deputy Chairman of the national company Kazakhstan Engineering, Mr. Yerlan Muratov, will visit Norway in the week starting January 20. INTSOK partners will have an opportunity to have meetings with Mr. Muratov and INTSOK's Oil & Gas Advisor to Kazakhstan, Mr. Aidyn Tumyshev.
Kazakhstan Engineering is a leading manufacturing company in Kazakhstan and is represented in aviation, heavy-truck industry, petroleum machinery, electronic, R&D and other industries, via its 26 machinery enterprises.
Recently Kazakhstan has given approval to develop the hugh onshore Tengiz oil field via the Future Growth Project (FGP). Approximate investment of Tengizchevroil LLP (50% Chevron, 25% ExxonMobil, 20% KazMunaiGaz, 5% Lukarko) is around 25 bln USD. http://www.tengizchevroil.com/home ).
Kazakhstan Engineering is setting the consortium of companies to promote the local content target set within FGP as the National Company. But Kazakhstan is dependent on international technology and expertize. Therefore Kazakhstan engineering is looking for the partnerships with leading Norwegian engineering companies, technology suppliers, and service suppliers,- who would like to win contract with them in the Tengiz project and later in other projects like the upcoming offshore projects Kalamkas Sea and Kashagan phase 2.

- 22 January - Oslo (INTSOK office)
- 23-24 January - Stavanger (INTSOK office)
