The Myanmar oil & gas industry is the oldest in Southeast Asia and after 1988 foreign operators such as Total, PTTEP, Petronas and Daewoo entered the country.
Currently, the upstream sector in Myanmar is one of the most attractive in the region. The country needs to increase gas production to meet both rapidly growing domestic demand as well as export.
