This seminar is part of our breakfast meeting series. The seminars take place at Statkraft on the first Thursday of every month from 07.45-09.30, with exception of July and August due to the summer holiday.

The second one will focus on communication.

In 2015, the UN launched an agenda for global sustainability development towards 2030.  In a world where sustainability and green growth is high on the agenda, communicating your company’s sustainability message offers significant opportunities for re-branding and growth in new markets.  In this seminar we discuss how companies can communicate their brand message on sustainability and how successfully communicating their values to the market will be essential to the company`s long term success.

Statkraft is a leading European company when it comes to sustainability and corporate social responsability, and Bente Engesland, SVP Corporate Communication, will set the scene for the seminar.

Fredrik Norman, Head of Communications at Statoil for Global Strategy & Business Development, will share some insights from Statoil’s journey from a national oil and gas company to an international energy company with climate as an integrated part of the corporate strategy and a rapidly growing business in renewable energy.

Ingrid Helsingen Warner from Leidar, the international communication consultancy, will share how companies can set their course, navigate and communicate their sustainability efforts and some common pitfalls to avoid.

Bjørn K. Haugland, EVP & Chief Sustainability Officer in DNV GL, will share the journey on how DNV GL became the global think-thank for a Safe and Sustainable Future.

The seminar will take place in Statkraft's auditorium (Lilleakerveien 6A)
Coffee and croissants will be served at 07.45
The meeting will go from 08.00-09.30
