Poland and Norway – Offshore Wind Network Meeting
This networking event is arranged in collaboration with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Warsaw. The participants will learn about the development in the Polish offshore wind sector, including the local content policy, and they will come in contact with the developers and suppliers to the Polish OW projects.
The offshore wind market in Poland is in an exciting phase, attracting all the large international market players. The necessary legislation offering public aid of EUR 22,5 billion is in place and the first OW projects with a total capacity of 5,9 GW have been awarded Contracts for Difference by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office. This development opens unique business opportunities for Norwegian companies offering products and services to the sector.
Speakers from Equinor and DNV will tell about recent projects and market developments, following a panel discussion and a networking lunch. Name of speakers and topics to be discussed will be announced early August. There is no participation fee for this event.
The event is arranged in connection with the Annual Conference of The Polish Wind Energy Association (PWEA) 30 August – 2 September.
Participation fee for the full 3-days PWEA Conference is 3000 PLN net. NORWEP Partners will get a 10% discount.
