Webinar: Taiwan offshore wind market – an updateWind energy
The Taiwanese government has plans to increase renewable energy capacity to 27GW by 2025 or 20% of power demand.
Offshore wind is a major driver and with 520 MW capacity commissioned in 2020 it will grow to 5.5 GW in 2025 with another 10 GW to be added until 2035. International developers like Ørsted, WPD, CIP, Yushan and Northland Power have engaged heavily in Taiwan and are working with the government to realize the industrial potential of offshore wind in close collaboration with local industry.
In our planned webinar, industry experts will discuss status of the market, projects, impact of Covid-19 and expectations going forward.
