Offshore wind delegation to Dublin
The delegation trip to Dublin has been postponed to Q4 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Norwegian Energy Partners and Norwegian Offshore Wind cluster, together with the Norwegian Embassy in Dublin and Greater Stavanger, are collaborating with Enterprise Ireland and Irish Wind Energy Association to create a focused B2B visit to the capital of Ireland to explore opportunities in offshore wind.
In June 2019 the Irish government published an ambitious climate action plan that, for the first time, set out a real vision for how they will decarbonise Ireland’s energy system.
Offshore wind energy is at the heart of a plan that will cut CO2 emissions in the electricity sector by two-thirds and double the share of electricity provided by renewables to 70% by 2030.
We wish to engage with the Irish stakeholders, government, developers and supply chain alike in presentations and discussions further developing or forging new relationships between Ireland and Norway
The aim of closer cooperation is to ensure the quality supply chains that can meet future demands in the industry.
