Integrators, Yards & Engineering Week – US & MexicoOil & gas upstream
Norwegian Energy Partners is heading a mission to the US and Mexico, where Partners will meet with and present value proposition to integrators, yards and engineering companies.
The offshore market in the Gulf of Mexico is growing. In Mexico, Pemex is pushing forward with a very aggressive plan in the upcoming years. Also companies like BHP, Pan American, Fieldwood Energy, ENI and Talos are working on new offshore projects. Most of the offshore infrastructure for these project will be built in Mexico. There are currently over 20 permanent offshore structures being built simultaneously in Mexican yards. We will visit the engineering and design companies for these and upcoming projects, as well as some of the most relevant integrators and yard operators.
In the US sector Chevron is preparing for the Anchor project, Total for North Platte and Shell for the Wale project. There are also several subsea tieback, extension projects and similar being planned and under execution. In addition, integrators, yards and engineering companies are working in projects for or in other countries like Canada, Guyana etc.
NORWEP Partners that have registered will have received relevant programme and logistics details directly.
There will be a minor participation fee which applies for attendance per country, noted below, to partly cover direct event costs including some bus transport:
• NOK 3.000,- per NORWEP partner representative ( USA and Mexico )
• NOK 2.000,- per additional NORWEP partner participant ( USA and Mexico )
