Following a very successful delegation visit to IPF 2019 in New York City, Norwegian Energy Partners are now planning the IPF 2020 conference delegation to Providence, Rhode Island, 21 - 24 April 2020 in cooperation with Business Network for Offshore Wind, Innovation Norway, The Norwegian Embassy in Washington and the Norwegian Consulate General's office in New York.
With State driven offshore wind targets exceeding 25 GW, and 15 auctioned federal lease areas enabling at least 28 GW's, the US has become one of the world’s most significant offshore wind markets, trending ahead of Europe and Asia. Rhode Island is the first U.S. state that has committed to be powered by 100% renewable energy by 2030, with strong ambitions to become leaders in American offshore wind.
The Business Network for Offshore Wind’s International Partnering Forum (IPF) 2020 is the leading technical and supply chain conference for offshore wind in the United States, dedicated to moving the industry forward.
NORWEPs offshore wind market report 2019 estimates that US annual spend in 2025 will be € 6 billion and cumulative spend from 2020 until 2025 is estimated to be €18 billion, numbers that will be upgraded in the 2020 report.
Attending the IPF gives you the opportunity to network with the industry’s leading global experts, generate new business opportunities, strengthen the US offshore wind supply chain and directly shape the industry. Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) are planning extensive meeting activity, yet with time set aside to participate in the IPF Conference and relevant Workshops. The detailed agenda for the delegation meetings is under development, our ambition is to end up with at least 8-10 individual meetings.
