NORWEP/Innovation Norway have received a request from Vietnam Petroleum Industry (VPI) for oil & gas experts for their training center. We believe this could be a good opportunity for Norwegian companies to get in direct contact with the Vietnamese market.
Vietnam Petroleum Industry (VPI) belongs to Petrovietnam group (PVN) which is a state-owned company. VPI include Vietnam Petroleum University, Center for Petroleum Training and Information (CPTI) and others. Their main tasks are doing oil & gas research and training based on the requirement of PVN. Establishing connections with these institutions could provide useful contacts and a better understanding of the Vietnamese market and its businesses.
Areas of interest include:
- Refining Engineering
- Petrochemical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Chemicals in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Anti - corrosion
- Gas/Power Technology
- Petroleum Economics
- Petroleum Management
- Petroleum safety and Environment
(NORWEP has also recommended CPTI to include “Digital technologies”in the training. This topic is on the agenda for oil, gas and energy companies in the Western world and Middle East and seen as very important in order to reduce cost, increase safety and reduce environmental impact.)
Please contact Ha Duong Tung Lam at the CPTI directly (
