Hydrogen Trade Mission to North Rhine-Westphalia 2025

Organised as a Team Norway initiative, this Hydrogen Trade Mission is a joint effort by NORWEP and Innovation Norway, in collaboration with H2 Cluster and NRW.Energy4Climate. The mission invites Norwegian companies and stakeholders across the hydrogen value chain to participate in a two-day programme in Düsseldorf, 18–19 August 2025.

This trade mission serves as a strategic platform for companies active along the hydrogen value chain to explore one of Europe’s most dynamic industrial regions. North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is a frontrunner in Europe’s hydrogen transition, backed by strong climate policy, an established industrial base, and large-scale investments in hydrogen infrastructure.

Participants will benefit from high-level networking opportunities with German and Norwegian actors in hydrogen production, infrastructure, and industrial applications. The mission program includes keynote presentations, project showcases, and B2B matchmaking sessions with leading industry representatives, public agencies, and potential partners in NRW.

With Düsseldorf as a hub for innovation and climate-oriented industrial development, the event provides a timely opportunity to position Norwegian expertise in a growing European market.
