Join the Norwegian offshore wind delegation to Taiwan and explore concrete opportunities for the Norwegian supply chain in one of Asia’s most advanced offshore wind markets.
The delegation is designed for Norwegian suppliers and solution providers looking to position themselves for upcoming projects, connect with developers and EPCs, and better understand how Norwegian competence fits into Taiwan’s next phase of offshore wind development.
Taiwan’s offshore wind capacity is expected to reach 5.3 GW by the end of 2026, with an ambitious target of 18.4 GW by 2035. This continued growth creates demand across the value chain — including engineering services, marine operations, installation, digital solutions, and O&M.
The Round 3-3 offshore wind tender is expected to be officially announced by the end of March and completed before year-end, with development activities starting next year. The selection mechanism will change significantly, moving from strict local content requirements to a flexible points-based evaluation model, while introducing ESG performance as a formal assessment criterion.
In parallel, Taiwan will launch its first floating offshore wind demonstration project, marking an important milestone in expanding offshore wind into deep-water areas.
This delegation provides a structured platform for Norwegian companies to gain market insight, visibility, and direct access to key Taiwanese developers, EPCs, and decision-makers.
