AKOFS Offshore is a provider of vessel-based subsea well construction and intervention services to the oil and gas industry. The company has a highly competent and diverse organization, covering all phases from conceptual development to project execution and offshore operations.
The company operates three state-of-the-art vessels, the AKOFS Seafarer, the Skandi Santos and the Aker Wayfarer, which are designed to perform operations in up to 3,000 meters (9,800 feet) of water.
The AKOFS Seafarer is designed and equipped for both riserless well intervention and riser-based deepwater well intervention operations. The vessel will commence a 5+3-year contract for light well intervention services for Equinor in Q1 2020, operating in Norway year-round. The Skandi Santos is a subsea installation vessel that is installing production equipment on fields in Brazil on a 5+5 year contract with Petrobras. The Aker Wayfarer was recently upgraded to a subsea installation vessel and commenced a 5+5 year contract for Petrobras in Brazil in January 2018.
The main markets are in Brazil, West Africa, the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
