For offshore wind farms and oil rigs, where people are transferred between assets by crew transfer vessels and helicopters, Vissim has developed the Offshore Energy Manager (OSEM). The application supports safe and efficient personnel management by crew transfer planning, certificate management, inductions and real-time tracking of personnel.
This application enables much of the traditional workload of marine coordination to be easily distributed to contractors,thereby increasing transparency and minimizing duplication while maintaining data control and security. Vissim has extensive experience and project references from offshore wind farms and oil rigs.
