Value proposition

Ægir Harvest is a startup company developing a TLP foundation for floating wind parks. Along with the TLP itself we offer a novel method for installing the TLP. This method eliminates any need for specialised heavy lift vessels. Our foundation is extremely low- weight and low cost compared to existing alternatives. It also ensures excellent in-place motion characteristics for the wind turbine.

In addition to the TLP, we are also developing a tower for installing complete wind turbines from large construction vessels. This allows for a rapid and robust installation method. For heavy maintenance the turbine can be removed from the foundation and repaired onboard the construction vessel. Alternatively the turbine can be taken inshore for repair, or simply be changed out with a new tower.
