Value proposition

No environment challenges the oil and gas industry more than the Arctic. Floaters are exposed to extremes, low temperatures can freeze machinery, ice floes can shatter ships and platforms. The Moss team is experienced in designing floaters with ice-breaking and survival capabilities to withstand the impact of the arctic extremes.

Moss Maritime has significant experience in developing floating production units adapted for harsh conditions in cold climate and with possibility of ice encounters. A key reference project for harsh ice conditions is the ship-shaped FPU in the Shtokman development project. We have also delivered several ice-capable semi-submersible drilling rigs.
