In the following months, we are excited to host a series of webinars featuring oil companies in Brazil. These webinars will provide a platform for each company to showcase their projects and engage in interactive discussions with Norwegian suppliers. - The largest Brownfield Life Extension Project so far executed in the Global Deepwater Industry
- The giant deepwater Marlim Field Revitalization Project involved the decommissioning of nine production units and the installation of two new FPSO’s with total capacity of 560,000 barrels per day and 150,000 barrels of oil per day, over 700 kilometers of subsea pipelines, 9 subsea production manifolds, six water injection subsea manifolds and over 70 subsea wells.
- Petrobras also already announced the life extension projects in Albacora and Barracuda - Caratinga fields, with two new units to be installed on those fields currently in the bidding phase.
There are also at least two or three new projects on the pipeline, the Marlin Sul / Marlin Leste fields and potentially the Roncador field, where Equinor is an Strategic Partner.
