Namibian Minister of Mines and Energy visit to Norway
Namibia Minster for Mines and Energy with his delegation are visiting Norway to learn more about the Norwegian Oil & Gas regulatory system and the Norwegian Low Emission Technology.
It is well recognized that the Namibian Oil & Gas field development are coming up to be one of the most promising opportunities in Africa and will shortly be a frontrunner. Recent high-profile exploration successes in Namibia have drawn the attention of majors and smaller players alike to the potential oil and gas riches in the Southern African nation.
Offshore finds such as Venus by Total Energies and Shell’s Graff together with BW Energies Kudo License. Further interesting exploration is ongoing by ExxonMobil, Chevron, Eco Atlantic, Maurel & Prom, Global Petroleum and Atlas Petroleum. The discoveries are both in deep water and some are also in more shallow water.
