We cordially invite you to join our trade delegation and attend the upcoming business events during the visit of HH.MM King Harald and Queen Sonja to Denmark. The conference will be held in Norwegian and Danish. 

This conference seek to strengthen the collaboration between Denmark and Norway in strategic energy segments and to build stronger ties between governments, industry and stakeholders to enable sustainable value chains for offshore wind and hydrogen.

The Norwegian King and Queen will be accompanied by Norway's Minister of Trade and Industry, Jan Christian Vestre, and Norway's Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Terje Aasland.

HH.MM King Harald and Queen Sonja will be accompanied by HH.MM Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. Norwegian Ministers of Petroleum - and Energy, Foreign Affairs and Trade and Fisheries will participate together with Danish ministers of climate-, energy- and utilities, trade and nordic Cooperation.

We will discuss general collaboration between Denmark and Norway in the energy industry and share thoughts on how to develop and mature our relationship in various related technology areas, such as the development of interconnectors and grid including the topic of energy islands. Furthermore, we will discuss collaboration opportunities in offshore wind and in the fields of power-to-X and hydrogen.

  1. Breakout 1: Norwegian - Danish Collaboration in the Offshore Wind Sector
    The focus of this section will be to understand how to combine Danish and norwegian expertise for the benefit of both and explore collaboration opportunities between Norwegian and Danish industries from multiple perspectives. How are we complementary, and how can we create synergies in cooperation?
  2. Breakout 2: Advantages of enhanced collaboration between Norway and Denmark on Green Hydrogen
    The focus of this section will be to understand how to combine Danish and Norwegian expertise for the benefit of both, by discussing the benefits of enhanced collaboration between Norway and Denmark in green hydrogen and the opportunities it presents. The focus is on infrastructure and technology as these areas have the greatest mutual interest. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and ideas on how hydrogen collaboration can be strengthened between Norway and Denmark. Hydrogen includes Power-to-X.

If you wish to learn more and develop your relations with the Danish energy industry, Copenhagen is clearly the place to be on the 15th of June.

We would like to inform all participants that the spoken languages at the summit will be Danish and Norwegian.
