pForecast, a SaaS solution by Powersim Software, is a user-friendly platform that consolidates forecasting methodology and prevents Excel sheet chaos. The software allows reservoir, drilling, and production engineers to create reliable forecasts using inputs from commercial subsurface tools. Monte Carlo simulations quantify uncertainties and produce forecasts with low, expected, and high values. Incremental analysis and corporate roll-up analyses support project investment decisions and corporate-wide reporting. The reporting functionality is powerful and customizable, supporting export to standard formats. The software models planned and unplanned downtime, drilling schedules, rig availability, and generates Gantt charts to illustrate uncertainty propagation over the drilling schedule.
