TIME toe valves

Value proposition
By using the FADE technology Marwell have designed two different TIME toe valves. The valves are installed in the deep end of the lower completion to control the toe zone and can be run in hole in either open or closed position. The valves are actuated differently:
- The pressure actived version has an hydrostatic initator with a pre-set actuation delay between 10 hours and 3 days
- The fluid activated version is actuated when exposed to brine or acid. When exposed to oil base mud there is no activation
The added values for customers when using TIME toe valves are:
- Straightforward and cost effective way to control toe zone
- Few moving parts and possible leak points
- No need for intervention or to send pressure signals
- Actuation of valve can be set up to suit the completion program
