Value proposition

Power generation, flaring and venting are the largest contributors to the GHG emissions from Oil & Gas operations.

Yinson Low Emission FPSOs will integrate combined cycle power generation, HC blanketing of and vapor recovery from crude oil storage tanks and closed flare. Together with all electric drives and energy optimised separation systems, this represents currently the Best Available Technologies to reduce emissions from FPSO operations. Additionally, for operations where CO2 can be injected post-combustion CCS can be included. The above solutions will reduce FPSO operations emissions by 15-20%, with further emissions reduction benefits from adding carbon capture and storage.
