Subsea well establishment can suffer seabed or cementing issues. Either can lead to life-of-well assurance concerns. Unplanned rig critical-path extensions are expensive. CAN-ductor is a novel subsea well foundation, which integrates a suction caisson with a drilling conductor. It is delivered by vessel prior to rig arrival, offers integrated precise cement positioning and assures life-of-well fatigue integrity.
