CapsolEoP® (End-of-Pipe) is a standalone, retrofit, carbon capture technology with a patented energy recirculation process which offers low capture cost and the flexibility to monetise heat and electricity in the capture process.

What makes the CapsolEoP® solution superior CapsolEoP® does not need external heat supply

  • CapsolEoP® can run on electricity only
  • Amine-based technologies require significant amount of heat. This amount of heat is often not available from the host plant and requires investment in a separate steam generation which increases the energy costs

CapsolEoP® is a stand-alone system that uses the HPC (hot potassium carbonate) solvent

  • CapsolEoP® can be installed without impacting uptime or production
  • HPC is safe, environmentally friendly and widely available at low cost

CapsolEoP® produces usable heat

  • CapsolEoP® works as a heat pump, producing heat at usable temperatures
  • The heat can be used efficiently to run the carbon capture process. Surplus high grade heat can be delivered to a district heating system or other use.
