Multiconsult is a leader in design development and construction supervision of caverns for onshore oil and gas plants in Norway, recently involved also internationally. We offer experts on engineering geology with rock mechanics analysis, water hydraulics and civil construction in combination with cold climate engineering.

Long distances to offshore installations combined with pipeline transport demand narrow location envelope for onshore plants due to cost. Design and construction of infrastructure is also a cost driver in arctic areas. Less favorable conditions at location to minimize distance may be a cost driver.
