There are numerous and complex load effects and associated abrasion in large shell concrete structures resulting from ice loads as well as potential impact from icebergs. Concrete structures may also be constructed close to final location adding challenges during the construction phase in remote areas.

Through decades of R&D activities within arctic and cold climate in general, special methodologies have been developed. By integration of metocean data, hydrodynamics and arctic marine technologies knowledge we assure that the design of concrete platforms are reliable, safe and cost-effective.
