Since its beginning in 2008 the AWEA (now American Clean Power) Offshore WINDPOWER Conference has developed into a significant gathering of offshore wind energy professionals in the United States.

American Clean Power’s (formerly “AWEA”) Offshore WINDPOWER Conference is, together with IPF, the premiere offshore wind energy conference in North America.

ACP connects global leaders and businesses in the supply chain, offers unparalleled networking opportunities, and delivers breaking updates on the industry, from technology to policy.

  • The US East Coast market offers about 20 GW of active projects in procurement phase for components and services
  • President Biden’s goal of 30GW of Offshore Wind deployed by 2030 will trigger more than $12 billion per year in capital investment in projects on both U.S. coasts
  • On the East Coast alone, about 35 GW of offshore wind projects are under development 
  • US states on all 3 coasts have established over 70 GW of offshore wind procurement targets to date

Norwegian delegation meetings are being scheduled to discuss business opportunities with a selection of: leading developers such as: Atlantic Shores, Avangrid, Orsted, Mayflower, Dominion Energy); OEM’s (GE, Vestas, Siemens); Tier 1 contractors & port operators (DEME, Marmon, Kiewit, Crowley); and State leaders (NYSERDA, NYCEDC, NJEDA).

The meeting schedule will be coordinated to allow participation in the most significant presentations and panels. Consulate General reception will be held on 18 October.

Participation fees / registration

NORWEP negotiated conference rate *US$ 495 pp, in addition:

  • NORWEP members: Delegation fee Nkr 1.500,- pp
  • Non-members: Delegation fee Nkr 3.000,- pp

Travel / accommodation
All participants are responsible for their travel related reservations and fees, i.e. hotel, flights etc.
