Markets

UK

The UK is one of the world’s largest offshore wind markets, with more than 10GW of cumulative installed capacity across 38 sites and a further 5GW in pre-construction, with plans for a further 11GW.

The UK government targets 50GW of offshore wind energy by 2030, including 5GW generated by floating technologies. 28GW has been awarded to floating and fixed bottom projects in the ScotWind leasing round and further 13 development projects with a total capacity of up to 5.5 GW was just awarded in the INTOG. The Celtic licencing round of up to 4 GW is expected later this year. In addition, further add-ons to former licences are expected.

Delegation programme

We are preparing delegation and 1-on-1 business meetings with major players and organizations of your interest in the UK industry, networking opportunities at the Norwegian Ambassador’s residence in West London and a lot of fun at the ExCeL exhibition and conference venue.

We have already signed up RWE and SSE for a deep dive into the O&M needs in their projects and some of the INTOG winners for detailed understanding of arising opportunities. In addition, we will invite Celtic and Irish Sea permission round contestants to get to understand their project challenges and possibilities of solutions to mitigate.

Your unique value proposal might be the solution they are waiting for. Make sure to register in time to get your unique value proposal (UVP) in front of the right potential client. We plan for your B2B meetings at the venue.
