The Americas is an important supplier of LNG to the world.  US is the largest supplier globally. Since opening its first export terminal, the US has continuously expanded its liquefaction capacities. As of 2025, the US exports more than 100 mtpa.  Major export terminals include Sabine Pass, Corpus Christi, and Cameron LNG.

The ME is a key player in the global LNG market, with Qatar, the UAE, and Oman at the forefront. QatarEnergy is expanding capacity to remain one of the world's largest LNG exporters by 2030 and ADNOC is investing heavily in LNG project.
