China has established itself as the world’s leading hub for FLNG and FPSO construction, with shipyards playing a pivotal role in major international projects. Current work includes FPSOs for MODEC—such as Gato do Mato for Shell Brazil—along with several newly secured FLNG orders. These developments underscore China’s central position in the global offshore energy value chain.

This seminar, sponsored by the Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai together with Gexcon, Hummervoll Industribelegg, TMC Compressors, and Framo, will bring together a unique mix of Chinese industry leaders and Norwegian suppliers. Norwegian Energy Partners convenes top Chinese shipyards - DSIC, CMHI, CIMC Raffles, SWS, COSCO, and Wison New Energies -alongside leading topside manufacturers such as COOEC, BOMESC, and Himile.

With FPSO owners and EPC contractors also in attendance, the event offers a rare platform for direct dialogue, cooperation, and business development between Chinese and Norwegian stakeholders.
