Norwegian expertise is highly valued in the global Offshore FPSO/FLNG and OW installations Vessel market, and the majority of the world’s FPSO/FLNG and OW installations Vessel newbuilding projects are contracted or subcontracted through Chinese offshore shipyards. Leading FPSO/FLNG operators and contractors such as ENI, ExxonMobil, Equinor, Petrobras, BW Energy and MODEC, SBM Offshore, OceanStar continue to fabricate hulls, topside modules and living quarters in China. Offshore Wind players like Cadeler, Van Oord, Jan De Nul, DEME Group and others are also active at Chinese yards.
NORWEP invites Norwegian delegates to participate in a focused roadshow to key Chinese offshore shipyards, offering direct access to yards that play a central role in current and upcoming FPSO projects.
Participation in the roadshow is limited to 15 companies to ensure high-quality interaction and targeted engagement with shipyard stakeholders.
The delegation will visit selected Chinese offshore shipyards with proven experience in FPSO hulls, topsides and accommodation modules, including yards located in Dalian, Qingdao, Yantai, Nantong, Qidong and Shanghai.
As part of the programme, NORWEP will facilitate dedicated B2B meetings with key stakeholders at each shipyard, including representatives from top management, project management, engineering and procurement teams. The meetings can be combined with guided yard tours, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of shipyard capabilities, ongoing projects and future opportunities.
