In SEAONICS, we develop handling technology to support sustainable exploration, development and management of ocean resources.

Seaonics was founded in 2011 and is a result of the maritime cluster on the West-coast of Norway. Based on the trust and support from ships designers and ship owners we have been able to develop and deliver world-class systems and technology.

In 2015 ICD Software was acquired and merged with SEAONICS to further strengthen and develop the company. ICD Software has been a leading control-system company supplying motion compensated and integrated control systems to the maritime cluster since 2001.

SEAONICS headquarter is located in Ålesund, in the maritime cluster on the west coast of Norway, surrounded by a number of yards, ship owners and designers.
