Value proposition

Cost-effective decarbonization of assets is challenging – in particular if facilities have less than 15 years of remaining lifetime, or assets are far from shore or have with poor access to gas. Siemens Energy’s off-grid floating wind units with battery energy storage solution and short cable connectivity to any installation can be adapted to any load profile and power need. The solution allows ≥ 50% electrification of the asset, stays as long as the asset is in operation, and can then be moved to the next asset, minimizing one-time costs.
