RheoSense – Autonomous Real-Time Drilling Fluid Analysis

Conventional drilling-fluid monitoring relies on periodic manual measurements, creating information gaps between samples. RheoSense closes these gaps through autonomous, continuous analysis directly at the rig site.

Density and rheology data are updated every five seconds, while gel-strength measurements can be performed automatically at selected intervals.

This gives drilling teams, fluid specialists and remote operations centres a shared, time-aligned view of fluid behaviour as conditions change. Earlier identification of trends and deviations supports faster treatment decisions, improved well-control awareness, fewer operational non-conformances and more efficient fluid management.

Field-proven for both offshore and onshore operations, RheoSense integrates with existing rig systems and the IMS RheoSuite platform.
