Low Shear Optimization Studies

Unique value proposition (UVP)

Typhonix offers facility assessments to map the potential for debottlenecking through low shear processing. The assessment will be tailor made for each case, and may include some or all of the following activities:

  • Optimization studies based on your P&IDs - Facility assessments - Full-scale lab tests with real fluids - Third-party on-site sampling and process analysis Potential benefits of low shear processing are: IOR and better opportunities for tiebacks through higher production capacity and treatment efficiency, 20 – 40% reduced size and footprint of greenfield process plants by increased separation efficiency, Immediately improved separation and PW handling capacity with no additional equipment, and Reduced emissions to the environment and less consumption of chemicals.

Key Benefits

  • Enhance production capacity and treatment efficiency to improve tieback opportunities and boost oil recovery without the need for additional equipment.
  • Minimize the size and footprint of greenfield process plants by 20-40% through superior separation efficiency, resulting in substantial cost savings.
  • Lower environmental impact and chemical usage to meet sustainability targets and regulatory compliance.
