GeoTool-Inject is a market-leading software for monitoring and analyzing injection wells in real-time. The solution converts well- and reservoir data automatically into operational input, empowering the user to better monitor and control their injection operations. In the Barents Sea, Geomec has assisted with design and execution for one of the shallowest injections ever performed in Norway, maybe even in the world. The injection was performed safely and with absolute condifence about the rock integrity. Avoiding out-of-zone-injection will greatly reduce the risk and cost of injection leakages from 25% to 5%. Injection leakages may be automatically detected within a few hours. There is also an enormous potential to increase oil recovery through pressure support wells by up to 5-10%.
