OBS Technology RPL regulators (liquid)

XHPR 14 / RPL X 14 was OBS Technology’s first self-actuating regulator and was developed specifically for water-glycol applications, but also performs excellently with most water- and oil-based hydraulic fluids. The regulator combines exceptional pressure performance with unique precision and operational reliability, surpassing competing products in several key areas.

The nearly friction-free internal mechanism and a patented solution in the pressure-sensing area provide extremely fast response to downstream pressure fluctuations. The result is stable regulation, reduced pressure variation and improved system performance — whether the system requires rapid replenishment or controlled limitation of supply.

The RPL X-14 features an integral gear mechanism that delivers precise and comfortable operation with near-constant torque across the pressure range. The regulator can also be supplied with an actuator for remote control. A separate inlet valve and dump valve, combined with a patented sensor element, ensure superior pressure control, high wear resistance and optimal sealing integrity. Key components in titanium provide extreme durability and long life span, even under aggressive operating conditions.

The regulator has undergone extensive offshore testing, and several end customers have chosen the RPL X-14 as their preferred regulator in applications with high demands for capacity and precision.

OBS Technology also supplies some of the market’s most precise and reliable gas pressure regulators. These are developed for environments where stability, safety and accurate pressure control are essential — including industry, energy, maritime installations and advanced gas and safety systems.

The RPG regulators are based on OBS Technology’s unique pressure-sensor technology, which delivers high precision even with large variations in upstream and downstream pressure. At the same time, the regulators are compact, robust and easy to integrate into existing systems. The technology is field-proven in demanding applications with leading operators and delivers reliable performance day after day.
