Tampnet provides connectivity for all stages and activities during an offshore wind fam's life-cycle.
Network components can be installed while the sub-stations are at the yard and the nacelles are at the production site or port. This reduces the offshore installation and commission time.
For the construction phase, we deliver Private 5G and public 4G / 5G coverage from the first foundation are installed and through the construction phase. Vessels and workers are connected by 5G MCX for secure, mission critical communication. Vessels may have high-speed 5G and/or LEO satellite broadband services.
As the project moves into operation phase, the connectivity infrastructure is upgraded accordingly.
