ClampOn PIG Detector

The pig detector detects when the pig is passing the point where the ClampOn pig detector is installed. It is non-intrusive, clamped to the outside of the pipe. Providing reliable information about the passage of the PIG increases pipeline integrity and produce cost savings. It uses Acoustic Ultrasound to the detect the pig. It can also use magnetic detection. There is no need for inserts in the pig and the system is capable of detecting all types of pigs. This acoustic instrument accurately detected the passage of all types of pigs in real time, giving instant warning to the operator, either with local light or interfaced to control system or computer.
