Prosence Detection System (corrosion under insulation; fugitive emissions tracking)

Corrosion, leakages and fugitive emissions from process equipment account for a large portion of global GHG emissions. Prosence detection system (PDS) creates a small over-pressured space in the insulation around pipes and flanges and flushes through air for detection of gas, pressure, and humidity, and for removing moisture. This enables a substantial reduction in fugitive emissions and operating expenditures as the system provides early detection and location of any leakage while also minimizing the risk of leakages due to external corrosion.
