RheoMax - Displacement technology

Developed to automate the identification of fluid interfaces more accurately thereby initiating an operations process to isolate the new returning fluid to significantly limit contamination. This then results in the reduced amount of slops being sent to the waste management process. The RheoSense Displacement system provides a signal to the rigs mud plant system to move return flow from one tank to another. Given the nature of the discharge limits at site, a high percentage of used fluid has to be transported away from the facility. The costs and CO2 footprint associated with this activity therefore can be reduced. The operation is fully automated, requiring minimum manning.
